BLEEDING THROUGH Frontman Discusses TRUSTKILL Dispute; Video Available

BLEEDING THROUGH frontman Brandan Schieppati spoke to Rock Sound TV at this year's Download festival (June 13-15 at Donington Park, Leicestershire, UK) about the group's ongoing dispute with its record label, Trustkill Records. During the conversation, Brandan insinuated that Trustkill has lost its European distribution with SPV and revealed that BLEEDING THROUGH has been contacted by a number of other record companies since the band went public with its Trustkill feud. As previously reported, BLEEDING THROUGH has posted a new song, "Orange County Blonde and Blue", on its MySpace page. The track comes off the group's new album, "Declaration", which is tentatively due in September.

"Declaration" was recorded in Vancouver, Canada with producer Devin Townsend (STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, LAMB OF GOD, SOILWORK, DARKEST HOUR) and said to be a "concept album" about the rigors of being away from home.

According to Brandan Schieppati, "Declaration" will be heavier than its predecessor. "I think it bridges the gap between [2006's] 'The Truth' and [2003's] 'This Is Love, This Is Murderous'," he told Revolver magazine. "The melodies are darker, the riffs are heavier. We just wrote a really aggressive record that encompasses everything we've ever tried to do as a band and then raised the bar a notch or two."
